Important Note to MSBA/Taxation Students:

Fall 2009 will be the last semseter that MSBA/Taxation courses will be offered. Please take the courses required for your degree by Fall 2009. Please contact the Graduate Business Advising Center at 916-278-6772 with any questions.

Master of Science in Business Adminstration Taxation is suspended and currently is not accepting applications.

We appreciate your interest in Master of Taxation Program at the College of Business Administration at CSUS. As you may be aware the Governor of California has asked all state agencies to prepare for funding cuts of potentially 10%, and this includes the California State University System. We evaluated our program offerings and made the difficult decision to phase out programs that are not serving a high number of students.

Unfortunately, our MSBA in Taxation is one of those programs that have witnessed a decrease in student enrollment and applications to the program. Consequently, we will not be recruiting for new cohorts and will not be accepting new students into this program. 

Have you reviewed our Masters in Accountancy program? The curriculum’s coursework is somewhat similar to the Taxation program, and it too is an online program. http://www.cba.csus.edu/egp/accy/index.htm.
