The College of Business Administration offers 4 graduate degree programs and one Certificate Program for new students.
We offer a wide range of student services and programs designed to help both undergraduate and graduate students achieve success.

Please be advised that the College of Business Administration Graduate Business Advising Center (GBAC) has it's own deadlines, specific to MSA students, that are ALWAYS earlier than the dates listed on university forms. Visit "Steps to Graduation" for GBAC deadlines and instructions for all MSA forms. Missed deadlines will result in a delay in registration and/or graduation.
Spring 2013 Dates to Remember

| January 5th | 1. DEADLINE: To file Application for Classification | |
| to the Graduate Business Advising Center (GBAC) for Fall 2013 reclassification. | ||
| (If you will be completing your last Foundation courses in Spring 2013 you | ||

| 2. DEADLINE: To file Advancement to Candidacy | ||
| for Fall/Winter 2013 enrollment in a Thesis, Project, or MBA 501 for MBA | ||
| students, or ACCY 281 for MSA students. | ||
| (You must have passed or waived the GWAR/Writing Placement for Graduates | ||
| (WPG) requirement in order to Advance to Candidacy - No Exceptions.) | ||

| MBA students-You must pay your $63.50 diploma fee in the Student Financial | ||
| Services Center (Lassen Hall 1001) before submitting it to GBAC. | ||
| January 9th - January 24th | MySacState - Late registration and schedule adjustment. A $25 late fee will | |
| be applied if you wait until late registration begins on January 9th to register. | ||
| January 21st | Martin Luther King Birthday - Campus closed | |
| January 25th | Last day to drop a semester long class and qualify for full refund | |
| of resident and non-resident tuition. Visit the Sacramento State | ||

| signatures are required. (This does not include 9 week Foundation | ||
| or MSA courses offered through the College of Continuing Education. | ||
| The deadline to register for those courses is a minimum of 3 weeks before | ||
| the start date of each course and If you want to drop one of these 9 week | ||
| must do so before the third class session.) | ||
| February 21st | Census Date - Last day to add a semester long class with an | |
| approved petition signed by instructor and Associate Dean. | ||
| Adds are not approved after census date unless | ||
| students present evidence of University error that | ||
| prevented their timely registration. | ||
| February 18th | Presidents Day - Campus open, classes held | |
| March 8th | Deadline to drop a semester long course for serious and | |
| compelling reason with instructor and Associate Dean | ||
| signatures. After the sixth week (March 11th) all | ||
| drops require the approval of the course instructor, Associate | ||
| Dean and the College Dean. Drops during this period must be | ||
| career related or medical reasons beyond the control of the | ||
| student and must be verified in writing by a doctor or employer. | ||
| A student initiated job change does not qualify. | ||
