MSA Faculty - Crystal Ekanayake

Crystal Ekanayake is an audit partner with Gallina LLP, a regional accounting firm with offices throughout Northern California. Crystal earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and earned Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accountancy degrees from California State University, Sacramento.
Crystal continues to stay involved at CSU Sacramento as a part-time lecturer in the College of Business where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate level accounting courses. Crystal also serves on the College of Business Advisory Council and as a Board member of University Enterprises, Inc.
Crystal’s professional experience includes a blend of both private industry and public accounting. Crystal worked in the banking industry out of college, has experience as an operations manager and as a controller for a privately-held sales and distribution company. Crystal entered the public accounting profession in 2001 working in both the tax and audit disciplines and was admitted as a partner of the firm in January 2008.
Crystal is a licensed CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Crystal’s interests include reading and travel with her husband of 13 years – to date, they have visited six of the seven continents and over 30 foreign countries.
