MBA Faculty - Cheng-I "Eric" Lin

 

Dr. Eric Lin is an Assistant Professor of Finance, Risk Management, and Insurance at the College of Business Administration. Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. He also holds an MBA degree from Kansas State University and a B.S.B.A in Finance from Xavier University. His teaching and research interests are in Risk Management/Insurance, Empirical Finance, and Corporate Finance.

Dr. Lin was formerly a member of a financial consulting team at a leading brokerage firm, providing financial planning and investment management services to both household and business clients. He held the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. He is currently a member of the Financial Management Association International (FMA), the Midwest Finance Association (MFA), and the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
