Pingsheng Tong

Dr. Pingsheng Tong is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business Administration at California State University, Sacramento. She teaches courses in Marketing Principles and Retailing. She received both her Ph.D. and MBA in Business Administration (Marketing) from Washington State University. She also holds a Master of Science in Sociology with a minor in Statistics from Iowa State University. Dr. Tong’s research interests include marketing strategies, inter-firm alliances and relationship marketing, IT applications in inter-firm relationships and channel management, retail management, and marketing education among others. Her research has been published in Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and presented in American Marketing Association Educators’ Conference and INFORM Marketing Sciences Conference. She has also served as a reviewer for academic conferences in marketing.
