Dr. Anne Fuller brings a PhD in strategy & entrepreneurship and over 15 years of work experience at a Fortune 100 firm to her faculty position at Sacramento State. She taught in a graduate program in Louisville Kentucky before joining the team at CSUS.
Dr. Fuller’s research centers on technology commercialization strategies and has been published in Research Policy, Academy of Management Learning & Education, Policy Studies Journal, NBER working papers, and two book chapters on technology transfer. Dr. Fuller has presented her work at a variety of executive and academic conferences among them are: An Executive workshop on China’s business practices and environment; Strategic Management Society annual conference; Academy of Management annual conference; Industry Studies Annual Conference; Consortium on Competitiveness and Cooperation; Atlanta Competitive Advantage Conference, and the Technology Transfer Society annual conference. She has been a consultant to small business organizations, healthcare firms, and the National Science Foundation.
Her teaching interests are in practical applications of academic underpinnings related to current business issues. Dr. Fuller teaches case-based courses such as strategic management and corporate entrepreneurship. Her teaching goal is to engage students in the learning process and apply business principles in analyzing real world complexities.
Prior to entering the PhD program, Dr. Fuller held a wide variety of engineering, business and operational roles primarily in the electronics industry. Her experience spans all phases of product and business development such as; 6 years managing P&Ls including businesses of more than $500M annually; international experience in Europe and Latin America and a founding general manager in mainland China. She is currently a member of Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and the Technology Transfer Society.
