Christi is one of the state’s most experienced and respected communications professionals,
with expertise consumer education, marketing communications and public affairs. She is responsible for helping to
manage Ogilvy’s western region operation which includes offices throughout California and Denver. Christi also
serves on Ogilvy’s international management committee, where she interacts with colleagues from around the world
as they meet regularly to guide the operation.
Christi co-founded Deen+Black Public Relations in 1988 and helped guide the agency to become one of the
most respected and successful firms in the state. When Ogilvy acquired Deen+Black in 2001, the firm had four offices, 50
staff and annual revenue of $10M.
Christi’s expertise in business management and marketing communications has made her a successful
strategic advisor and marketing consultant to some of the country’s top private and public sector organizations
and a regular guest lecturer at universities.
Christi is also a member of the board of directors of PlacerSierra Bancshares (PLSB) a $3billion,
publicly-traded holding company that operates several different banking organizations throughout California. Christi was
invited to join this board to use her marketing expertise to help guide the banking staff as the organization addressed challenging growth issues.
Active in community affairs, Christi also serves on several charity boards of directors and is an advisor to
professional trade associations. She was accredited by the Public Relations Society of America in 1999. |
