Internships & Cooperative Education

The College of Business Administration at Sacramento State offers an extensive Internship & Cooperative Education program to employers seeking to hire students on a part-time basis during the academic year and semester breaks. The program is intended to be beneficial to the student and the employer, and provides a positive collaboration between the College of Business Administration and the business leaders in our community.

Internships & Coops are academic experiences for the student, where they can earn college credit for a new learning experience that relates to their concentration area(s) within the Business Major.  Positions must be paid and offer a minimum of 10-20 hours/week over a 15 week semester. Most importantly, the position must be at a level of work that is of a quality and complexity that merits the assignment of academic credit. Positions should be similar to entry-level responsibilities in the area of the student's concentration within the business major. 

Internships & Co-ops should be coordinated within the timeline of the semester or summer session.
