About the Program The Business Student Ambassador Program is an innovative program designed to help new students transition into the College of Business smoothly and provide resources to help ensure student success. The Business Ambassador Program is a peer-to-peer program staffed by upper division business students who connect with new business students. Business Ambassadors call new business students during their first semester in the major, at every important step: welcome, midterms, and registration. We make over 500 calls each semester! Phone calls are made at 4 different times during the semester, designed to allow the Ambassadors to check in with their students at key times during the semester, answer questions and provide information about services and resources that coincide with the studnets' academic program. We began the Business Student Ambassador program in the Spring 2005 semester. Currently there are four student ambassadors, who represent a wide variety of concentration within the major, and are specifically trained to answer questions about the College of Business and Sacramento State. They also love to share their favorite stories and personal experiences that can help new students be successful business students. We look forward to talking to you soon!
