Career Goals: To become a certified public accountant, philanthropist, professor, and physician.

Interests: The environment, animals, communication, culture, psychology, politics, medicine, and astronomy.  

Activities: I’m an amateur at volleyball. I enjoy running, biking, fishing, boating, and swimming. I enjoy reading, especially works by Cecelia Ahern and James Patterson. I like learning new languages and cultures, teaching, traveling, and volunteering. I like meeting new people and having dynamic conversations.

• Trip: Last summer I took a trip to Minnesota with my entire family, my parents, seven siblings, their spouses and children. The trip was exhausting because of jetlag and sleep deprivation but so worth it. We grilled and hung out almost every night in my brother’s backyard.

• Music: Rob Thomas & Shania Twain  

Little Known Fact About Me: My dream as a kid was to become an Astronaut.

Your advice to a new student: Be prepared. Always be prepared no matter what. Preparation is the key to excellence. Ask questions. Ask questions to learn, challenge assumptions, clarify, and create new possibilities. Get involved. Joining clubs is an opportunity to network with peers, faculty, and professionals. Volunteer or engage in community service to learn about the community you live in.

What I like about Sac State: Sac State ’s natural environment is breathtaking. The neighboring river, tall trees, and small animals make the campus feel calm and peaceful anytime of the day.
