A Note From The Dean

The greater Sacramento region is fast becoming a major metropolitan center, and a presence in the global market. We need a new breed of business leaders to guide our growth, and meet the challenges of constant change and worldwide competition.

The Executive MBA program at Sacramento State University will prepare our next generation of leaders to rise to the challenges and opportunities ahead. Our program mission is to blend quality faculty, talented candidates, and relevant curriculum to deliver cutting-edge executive educational programs and services that are the standard for the private/public sector audiences we serve.

Throughout the fifteen-month program, we strike the themes of real-world relevance and community service through the use of case studies and executive speakers drawn from the business, government, and nonprofit sectors. We deliver these through a blended model of Friday-Saturday classes and online project work that is tailored to the needs of the busy, mid-career managers and professionals who are our students.
